I've been on this site for around three years (I'm not exactly sure since this is my second account) and sadly, things have gone downhill faster than I had expected. When I first joined this site was a great place, the members were nice and helpful and I was very happy to find a place on the internet so focused on art.
Of course the people here are as friendly as ever, but it seems to me that more and more unsavory types are easily slipping by. I'm sure you've heard, dear dA, about the nazis (good lord...), the flooding of porn and the hoards of art thieves. But, I'm sure you have many more important things to attend to than keeping up the rules of your own site, even though the poor thing is turning into an uncivilized mess which seems to be trying hard to minimize the fact that it was created to showcase artwork.
